Review of Pony 62-336 16 -Pound Sledge Hammer With 36-Inch Hickory Handle

I wanted a heavy sledge to break up about 10-12 tons of concrete after it had been moved into one large pile. This did just the trick and gave me a supplement for my daily workouts at the same time.We were able to break it up in a timely fashion, even with wire netting inside of half the concrete.I recommend a sledge saver (the rubber piece that protects the handle), as we broke the handle within 2 days of using the sledge, but that was not a downfall of the sledge, but ourselves.I would definitely recommend this to anyone as you can easily swap the handle to make it a small sledge (which is what I did after completing the concrete task).Good luck finding a better deal locally as the heaviest I could find around here was an 8 lbs and that was roughly $35.You simply cannot beat this deal, especially if you have Prime, which is the main reason I chose this sledge over others.
